Abstract

Despite the fact that postgraduate programs in anthropology are experiencing a crisis of success, with the highest graduation rate in the academic history of our country, the calculations reveal an alarming conclusion: while anthropology attracts thousands of students to its classrooms, job opportunities are decreasing proportionally. This contradictory situation leads to an extremely arduous task today: determining what to do with postgraduate programs in anthropology. Without offering definitive answers, this article reflects on some essential variations in postgraduate programs, which are subject to constant review.
